Adelaide, the capital city of the state of South Australia, is a welcoming, cosmopolitan city of around 1.1 million people. Adelaide hosts many high-profile cultural, musical and sports events. The city centre is compact, easy to travel around and is surrounded on all sides by spacious parklands. The city streets contain many cafes and restaurants that reflect the multicultural nature of the city by offering a wide variety of cuisines.

The areas surrounding Adelaide also offer the chance to experience typically Australian attractions.

Summer: December – February,

hot and dry

Autumn: March – May,
 beautifully sunny, cool nights, dry

Winter:  June – August,
  12 -19 Degrees Celsius
  rain and fairly cool, no snow.
